Cabot Lodge rates are inclusive of:

  • An arrival drink
  • Canapes and complimentary evening drink
  • Multi course set-menu evening meal
  • Cooked and continental breakfast
  • Complimentary minibar
  • Complimentary laundry service
  • In suite baking and fruit
  • Use of the Lodge spa pool
  • Use of the onsite library
  • Use of the Lodge private jetty
  • In suite facilities including hair dryer, safe, iron, bathrobes, slippers, and luxurious toiletries

All rates listed on the website are inclusive of the New Zealand Goods and Services Tax of 15%. 

The rates for each individual suite are inclusive of two persons. The Premier and Deluxe Suites can accommodate a maximum of two persons. 


Payment policy:

A deposit of 25% of the total booking is required to secure your reservation. The balance of the reservation is payable upon departure.

Payment can be made via VISA, Mastercard, bank transfer or cash. 


Cancellation policy:

Cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled reservation date is a 100% forfeit of the total booking price. 

No cancellation fee is applicable for any booking 31 days prior to the scheduled reservation date. 

We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans. 


Dietary preferences:

If you have any dietary requirements or preferences, please inform your hosts when booking so they can ensure the menu on offer during your stay is suited to your preferences. Due to the Lodge's remote location, last minute changes to the menu may not be possible.


Children at Cabot Lodge:

Due to the unique nature of Cabot lodge and its location on a working farm, children age 10 and under are permitted to stay only when the Lodge is booked exclusively. We have no facilities for young children, including highchairs and cots.
